The old-guard philosophers, astrologers and physicists remain curiously quiet. Go figure, simply stuck in the 21st Century.
You’re here because you are interested in a Life on Seren. You’ve followed The First 500 and their exploits on Seren, and now you want part of the action, you want to become part of the #Breakaway. We’re seeing more and more people like you, seeking opportunity, so let’s do this.

Travel to Seren. Meet New Friends. Live Your Best Life.
We remember listening to our grandparents yammering on about their grandparents about how they wanted to go to other planets. So when the stars aligned and Seren popped up between our moon and Mars, we were stoked. We realized that we could go to a new world and in a way that wouldn’t take millennia. That’s when we put the wheels in motion to establish Life Beyond and, well, the rest is history - and the future!
So, in 2120 Life Beyond became a thing. We all watched The First 500 head to Seren and live stream their findings back to us. Now it’s your turn to do the same – and we’re here to make that happen. Thing is, we know no one wants to go it alone, so we also got the support of a bunch of companies to help us built this new world – from the construction specialists at Build Tech to the lifestyle brand Defy Everything.
We’re excited. We’re pioneering the Breakaway movement. So let’s pack up, head out and make this new planet somewhere we can also call home

General
Life Beyond is an open world sandbox multiplayer game taking place on a newly-discovered planet, Seren, a fantastical world full of opportunities. Several high-profile corporations, known as "Benefactors", are sponsoring new travelers to make the big jump, to go explore and settle. What do these Benefactors hope to gain by sending you there? That's for you and your friends to discover, amid the secrets of Seren...
Our game is currently in closed alpha. We regularly invite new testers to join us, so click here to sign up and get a behind-the-scenes look at development!

Features
Life Beyond offers an in-depth, modular construction system that allows anyone to build bases and settlements for them and their friends or allies. When we say that players are building the feature of humankind on Seren... we mean it literally!
We want the world of Seren to be offering unique challenges for many types of players, including those who enjoy group PvE. We'll share more about this aspect of the game as development progresses.
Gameplay

While common resouces can be found anywhere on the map, superior and pristine versions are more location-specific. Superior and pristine ironwood can be found in the forest, while superior and pristine blaze can be found in the mountains. Be careful with the local fauna!
Building rights are tied to clans. If you have left your clan or joined a new one since building the AI core of your settlement, your clan has changed, and therefore, you no longer have ownership over the original AI core room.
The building may have been salvaged by someone from your clan. If the whole settlement disappeared, you or someone from your clan may have salvaged its core Room. If you do that, the settlement is abandoned and decays gradually until it disappear. An abandoned settlement can't be reclaimed for now.
You are automatically entered into a clan bearing your name when you first start the game. You can create another clan by pressing "Y" and entering your desired clan name. You can also join a clan you've been invited to. The invitation will appear in the top left with accept or decline options.

We are committed to keeping Life Beyond free to play. There are Founders' packs available that give a variety of perks and in-game goodies, which you can read about more here. Other paid systems may be added at a later date, but we'll be listening to player feedback to make sure these systems participate to bringing everyone a better game experience.
Releases
We have not made any announcements regarding the availability of the game on any given store in the future.
We want Life Beyond to be accessible to as many players as possible, but before we localize the game, we have to make it!
We want Life Beyond to be available on as many platforms as possible down the line. We're developing it on PC though, so PC players will be the first ones to enjoy the game.

You can post about your issue in the #issue-feedback channel, where our team and community will do their best to assist!
You can press F10 ingame and use the report tool to send a bug report to the team. You can also explain what the issue in #issue-feedback. It's worth checking the issue isn't already known by taking a quick look at #known-issues beforehand.
